2019 Learning Impact Leadership Institute

Receiving regular real-time feedback of learning is essential for students, faculty and administrators as they strive for success and meet their goals. To help all students achieve, educators need to systematically and regularly collect and use data to guide instructional decisions in order to support student growth and achievement. To make the data actionable, they need to be visible to all stakeholders through a structure that supports an ongoing cycle of improvement through collecting multiple data sources, pathways to interpreting data in order to formulate strategies to support student success and implement instructional change. This session takes attendees through the backward design approach of developing a comprehensive learner record as part of a robust, cloud-based assessment system, designed to provide just in time feedback and guidance for students and educators to enhance the teaching and learning processes and cycles of improvement.
