Volusia County Schools, IMS Center of Excellence, has a strategic vision and experience enabling a digital ecosystem using the OneRoster standard to improve the teaching and learning experiences. Volusia has worked with their existing vendors and their OneRoster host, ClassLink, to convert 13 vendors from custom data/roster file imports to the OneRoster standard. This made a total of 22 vendors accepting OneRoster files from Volusia County. During this session we will share resources we utilized to keep everyone on track to have the conversions completed and tested before the start of the school year. We followed a general timeline for each of our vendors to ensure not only that the conversions finished on time, but also that there was not a loss of access or of historic data.
