It is estimated that 20% of education technology costs is spent on data interoperability annually. With many new solutions being launched, schools do not have sufficient time and money to make well informed purchase decisions. There is lack of funding for new and innovative solutions that offer validated return in investment. In this session, we will take a closer look at the edtech landscape, trends, pace of innovation and issues for schools, related to lack of analytics to proof efficacy of edtech solutions. A solution is offered in the form of a Platform (GG4L®) that facilitates affordable deployment of interoperability, provides research-based efficacy studies to determine level of evidence-based impact and attracts monetary funds from corporations and philanthropists to deploy and sustain validated EdTech solutions.
