Eric Cosyn is a co-founder of ALEKS Corporation, a leading company in Adaptive Learning that was acquired by McGraw-Hill Education in 2013 and that served 4.4M students in 2018.  Eric is currently the company’s Director of Applied Research. He is responsible for developing and improving ALEKS artificial intelligence, assessment, and learning technologies. He also oversees the data analytics that measure the validity and reliability of assessment and knowledge acquisition in ALEKS. His work focuses on improving the accuracy and efficiency of the mathematical and cognitive models driving all ALEKS products. Eric holds a PhD degree in Mathematical Behavioral Sciences from the University of California, Irvine, and a License en Mathématiques from L’Université Libre de Bruxelles in Belgium.
